The Shelby County Law Enforcement Personnel Board voted to approve granting exam exemption status to Jail Deputy applicants who currently hold APOST Corrections certification.
Exam exemption is also granted for Jail Deputy applicants who hold APOST Law Enforcement certification, or individuals who are active or former law enforcement officers.
Candidates should confirm exemption status with the Shelby County Law Enforcement Personnel Board.
